    Timeless.

What a wonderful design! Versatile uses from Vintage, Shabby Chic, mid-Century, even holidays. Embossing can give your cards an added level of depth without increasing weight or height-a bonus for shipping those holiday cards! Hint: lightly dust the embossed surface with a clear or metallic embossing powder and heat set.

Wasn't sure if it would work

I love this folder. It is so pretty and it does work with my Big Shots press machine. It makes the card look so lacey especially on a buff, lavendar, yellow color card stock. Very elegant.

    beautiful texture

I love the look of this on a card or on a scrapbook page, this was the perfect texture for my mix media and card project. I love how simple yet intricate this allowed my projects to be, paired with a die or a flower it became a rustic shabby chic gift.

    Pretty but too heavy

This is lovely but the pattern and the heavy embossing is just too much for such a small area. Too bad it can't be in a larger format or a more delicate lace for small cards or items.

    Vintage lace is beautiful!

LOVE this vintage crocheted lace embossing folder! There are no side or border lines to define edges...love that the edges are flat. I'm using this folder on vintage Christmas cards...lovely!

    Tim Holtz lace embossing folder

Love this antique yet homey lace embossing folder! I already had one of these folders but I got this one to give to my sister as part of her Christmas presents.

    Lovely lace embossing folder

This embossing folder makes a very pretty lace design. My only gripe is the size. It's just a tiny bit too small to make a full A2 size card panel. The design of the folder is a hair over 4 1/8" wide, and it is not quite 5 1/2" tall. Why they couldn't have made it just a little bit bigger is beyond me! None the less it is a beautiful design, you just have to put a trimmed panel in the folder, or trim it afterwards.

  • Would this work in the Revolution machine by We R Memory Keepers?   By: DT555 (20-Jun-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I’m sure it will. In my experience all embossing folders I own work well on both my die cutting/embossing machines. I own a Big Shot and a smaller Kaisercraft and they go through both well, you’ll just sometimes have to do a rearrangement of the plates you use to make it sandwich nicely.
These embossing folders are only a fraction thicker than the traditional ones if that’s what you’re worried about. Nevertheless, a newer machine like the Revolution should be built to handle any embossing folder currently available. I personally have embossing folders of many different brands (not just the ones made for my machines) and they all work perfectly. Same applies to thin cutting dies, so don’t be afraid to experiment and buy the ones you like so long as they fit on your baseplate you should have no trouble.
Hope this helps you. Happy crafting xo By: redfoxatelier (25-Jun-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
