Included in the package are thin metal dies.
The only problem with this die is there are no instructions on how this goes together. I went to Sizzix , YouTube and Pinterest.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Once I figured it out it’s really cute and it’s a great size. I always love the great detail of their dies.
The product could use some instructions included or a direct link to view steps to complete shadow box.
Fortunately I am familiar with cardmaking and was able to figure out the steps to complete the project. However beginners may become confused as to how to follow the illustrations.
I'm using this set to make my Christmas cards this year. Love the dimensional effect on the cards, and all the elements included. The finished cards are wonderful. And I'll be able to use many of the details in non-Christmas cards in the future.
I've recently purchased this set from scrapbook.com with a concern that it will not be used. How I was wrong! I've already made 4 cards and I'm planning to create more, using this wonderful set. I've replaced the Christmas Tree with a die cut of silhouettes of tree kids holding hands and the finished cards were the perfect handmade gifts for my daughter's kindergarten teachers. I'm planning on using this set with different silhouettes (a baby, a married couple and so on) to make different cards for my family and friends. Such a lovely set and the quality of the die cuts is very good- Intricate but sturdy. I cut many pieces from this set and none of them got torn in the process. I took a textured cardstock paper (A4 sized), folded it in half with a bone folder and then cut the card into 5.5'' wide X 6 '' height. In my next cards, I would probably cut the cards to fit 5.5''X6.5'' or larger.
Great find!
Used in this project: Forest Friends Card using Sizzix's Christmas Shadow Box dies
Have not used as of yet (100° temps not good for thinking Christmas) but I plan on doing a test day and cutting off a bunch of pieces so I can do an assembly line! Love this die set! Going to make really cute cards!
Haven't used these yet, but they appear to be consistent quality with other Sizzix products. Can't wait!
