Like all of the Sizzix products I have purchased over the years from dies to even their Big Shot Die cutting machine, I have always found their products to be of the highest standard. This heat tool is no exception. It’s lightweight yet has a high and low heating function. It’s easy to hold and has made dry embossing a lovely extension to my card making experience.
This is a great heat tool. It has two settings low and high and the housing stays cool. Works perfectly
I love that there are two heat settings on this heat tool! I’ve used it for melting embossing powders and Distress Embossing Glazes. I look forward to using it on some shrink plastic next!

What a great deal, I did plug it in to make sure it fit. As I read a review that said it's too big to fit in a outlet. It fits just fine, however I did ask the question if this is for the US before I made the purchase. I haven't used it as of yet, but I know I'll put it to great use in my projects.
I’m quite happy with this heat tool, I like the two heat settings and it heats up quickly. I find it a bit bulky to hold in my arthritic hands and would have preferred it a little thinner. But all in all I’m quite satisfied with this tool.
First time I’ve done any embossing so I’m not used to those specifically for embossing.. Unlike some heating tools this one has a low & high setting. This is very helpful in controlling the amount of heat getting to your embossing powder. With all the fun, chunky powders out you also need a lower setting to help all the added chunks...micas, glass glitters, from flying off until the enamel melts & can hold the chunks. Heating underneath your paper is a must for these & a low setting helps. Tinsel powders like Kaleidoscope (a beautiful color-changing rainbow if using black paper) can easily burn so, again, that low setting helps. The integrated stand is very stable.
Works great but I rembered what someone else said about blowing embossing powder everywhere so I now I'm careful. LOL
I love this embossing tool from Sizzix! what a great value too!
I’m new to embossing and this heat tool works great. It’s very to use and also very safe. I like this has 2 heat settings. Really changes the emboss powder quickly. A lot of fun to heat various powders with different results. Glad I got this.
First off, the plug is slightly too big and it is therefore difficult to plug in; not sure how this got through quality control.
Secondly, the air comes out quite forcefully which has the habit of blowing the embossing powder away. This is obviously less than ideal. I wind up melting the powder by applying the heating tool from underneath.
