This embossing folder is part of the Texture Fades A6 line designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. This embossing folder will produce a multilevel 3D image when run through the Big Shot, BIGkick, or Vagabond machines. It is designed to be used with one sheet of cardstock, foil, vellum, or paper. (all products sold separately). This folder measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1/8" giving you a finished design dimension of 6 1/4" x 4 1/4".

When i saw this used in the steampunk makes and others I knew I had to add it to my collection. I am working on some 3d top hats and going to use this in the design for a few of them. Hoping my eye and my Idea work together.
I am new to this. I guess I expected them to be the full size sheet like the dots that cam with my big shot plus bundle. I think the size should be in the visible description instead of the additional information you have to click on to see. I'll be sure to double check before ordering embossing folders in the future.
I've been wanting this folder for sometime. Can't wait to try it, and I hope there is a video for it?
LOVE love love this embossing folder. I use it all the time. One thing to note -- IF you are buying this with plans to use it on silver foil paper and rub black paint (or whatever) over it to make the grungy effect that Tim Holtz uses a lot in his videos... do note that the paint doesn't dry on any type of foil paper. I tried EVERYTHING -- every type of black paint/grunge effect and every type of foil... putting setting paste overtop, even. Nothing works. But this isn't against the embossing folder of course, it's great. But just a note in case you're buying it specifically to do that.
This is a fabulous embossing folder to use for male themed cards or any thing nerdy great possibilities, love, love love it!

I just used this on some standard white card stock (with a spritz of water on the cardstock first) - looks great! (I used the "Foundry" also. Foundry is also great).
This is perfect on a card for my grandson. Can’t wait to use it. Cool stamp ! Don’t overlook this because of its appearance.
