I have used these as well as other Tim Holtz gears etc when making cards for the guys in my life. It is hard to find decorative trim suitable for men but these solve the problem. I have several of them
I needed several sprocket gears for a piece I was working on, and these were the perfect size! As usual, I got a great deal here at Scrapbook.com, and I still have several left to use in other projects. They are good quality, as I have come to expect of Tim Holtz, and I would definitely recommend them and buy them again myself!
I'd been wanting these forever and while they are very cool and the quality is fine, they're also very small.
The smallest one is 3/4" and the largest is 1". I'd say for me they're better suited for cards, ATCs or smaller LOs than 12x12.
Used in this project: Spring Fling Butterfly ATC
I can think of many journaling techniques to go with these, especially on lo with kids such as, "the wheels were always turning" ( surround the gears with a thought bubble and use a journaling note for the enclosed phase. Have fun! Kathy
I cant get enough of these. Great for cards, mini albums, tags and pages. Great on top of stamped clocks.

love it...love it...love it..................
Love these gears for texture and demension, and they go great with game spinners.
I am working on the Steampunk mini chipboard albums and these embellishments are required to comple the project. I really like them, because they are the perfect size and color.
These look great in my album I am making for my brother, who is rebuilding an old VW Bus. They are real metal and the only actual gears I could find for scrapbooking. So cool on the page. I used them with the Grease monkey collection papers.
