I already tried the Heidi Swapp Minc Toner pen a while back because I wanted to get more use out of my foils but was terribly disappointed by the quality. So I was hopeful that this pen would work better.
I'm happy to report that it does indeed work very well. With this pen you can foil your own doodles, handwritings, letterings etc. and add fun touches to cards etc.
BUT the tip is a bit frayed (not sure if that's the right word) and not as smooth as you might need it to get some perfect letterings/calligraphy drawings. So just be aware of that when you purchase.
There's also an extra tip included.
It is great for foiling words. Although sometimes it's hard to get it to come out consistently smooth. Heavy in some letters and light in others.
I was able to use this pen to freehand my signature and foil over it. I recommend for anyone who wants to foil handwritten sentiments or doodles.
It seems that now foil is on the craft scene again all the stores have quit carrying it. I have used foil for years and this is to replace some of my old glueing products. We will have many happy crafting times together.
I don't have a laminator, but this glue works perfect! I have used it for a wide variety of techniques, from inlays, to even embossing over top of it, stencils, to just regular applying. It results in some of my best cards! It really give your cards a WOW factor. Plus, it lasts a long time and doesn't seem to dry out within a year and goes a long ways, you can cover large areas and not run out.
This is a neat pen for any one that beginning to add in foils to their projects (no circuit machine).
