Ohhhhhh how cool is this! from the photo to the journaling to the lace and fussycut. I love seeing your vintage work but find the work about YOU very fresh and amazing as well.
How beautiful how you write about your house. I feel exactly what you mean(even if I rent my house). A house can have moods.......and how we look at it. Your layout is stunning! I have to put it in my favorites and look at it before I start a layout. I always want to do one like this with the softness in it.This is so beautiful and so much to look at.
Wonderful play of shadow and light! Love that you scrapped about your home and the sanctuary that it is for you~ I feel the same way about mine~ It is my safe place :) I am in love with all the grays and that dotted texture background~ So wonderfully done~!
Layout was done for CSI #44, several weeks ago. All 5 colors, which were blue, yellow, white, pale grey, and orange. My evidence is: fussy cut flowers, swirls, frame, transparent (gel medium), and something woven. My testimony: I documented something I love in my home. At the bottom of the page are snippets of phrases that describe some of my feelings about being in my home. The full journaling is revealed by pulling out the large flower on the left which is attached to a tag that reads: "My home is a place of many moods, just like me. I love being in my home in all of its moods. It is my place of refuge and peace, my sanctuary. When the sun is shining and the day is bright, the light is cheerful and open. Slanting in at different angles, casting shadows, always surprising me with a little bit of unexpected poetry! I love these moments, and savor their beauty for it is truly fleeting. The next moment the streaming light will just as surely be gone. The sun will shift, the shadows will fall, the dark will settle. My home has many moods, just like me......"
