This lo is for the ETG challenge... the challenge was to scraplift one of the first 1-10 lo's you saved into your favs. Mine is a scraplift from JodiL the link to her lo is... http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=84047&m=view&id=251565&start=240&page=1&f=1

I chose this one because I loved what the lo was all about and what it said. I tore pp instead of having it in strips which is what hers kind of looks like.. I didn't have a small pic to go with this one (at least one I could find at the time) so I chose to do what I did on the flap that opens for the hidden journaling.

This is a pic of me and my oldest dd (who is almost 17) at the Coate family reunion. It always took place on a big farm in Ohio. We always gathered down by the pond, we always would ride the horses, swing from the rope... play on the dock and just have a jolly good time.. this was Rachel's first horse ride along with her first coate family reunion. Isn't that horse just a beautiful color.. that is why I chose the red. Of course it was like the old mare too, hehe.. that is why I am on it with Rachel! :O) I have not yet filled out all the journaling.. wanted to make sure of what I wanted to say before rushing into it.

The flower behind the journaling is stamped with paint on a transparency, and the red journaling strips are red vellum... I loved how this turned out.. I did change a little but not much really...
