This is another tin type of my grandmother (left) and a friend. Like my other tin types (previous gallery posts), it was taken at North Beach Amusement Park and Beer Garden circa 1914. I am quite sure that my grandmother and her friend were wearing their own clothing as it is in line with fashion of the day. You can see that they were posed against a backdrop of some sort. I am also fairly sure that they had these photos taken because they were much more inexpensive than a formal photograph. I added the pull out tab, so I could include some information about the tin types on the reverse side.
