Hi, I'm Lauren!  I love advertising, graphic design, and art!

I'm originlly from Kansas City, MO, but I just moved to Wisconsin.  After nearly two years long-distance, my boyfriend Justin and I are finally together!  Currently, I'm pretending to be skilled with interior decorating at his house :-)


My scrap background:
Scrapping started as a high school English class project, and I got hooked. I scrapped during high school, then I took a four-year break with college. I re-started in May 2008.

Personally, I view scrapbooking as an art form instead of simply preserving a memory.  I have yet to find my 'style,' or if I have one, I don't see it.  I do attempt to use my understanding of my degree in advertising to create a layout or card that is 'outside the box' and unconventional. And I do love loud colors!  I enjoy trying different techniques, but I know I have much room for growth and improvement as an artist.

 OK, a few factoids:
--I am quite sarcastic!
--I am scared to death of hot air balloons, blimps, windmills, and airplane hangers. This is some phobia, but I don't know its name.
--I'm obsessed with roller coasters.
--I love any and all rock music.  Really, any of it.
--I am very involved with volunteering at my local animal shelter.
--Ocean's Eleven is my FAVORITE movie ever.
