I have been scrapbooking
for about 7 years. Three years ago when my son
was born was when I really got into it. I'm always looking for new ideas
and was "lurking" on this site for a while before I joined.
I also get inspiration from magazines, art, photography, and nature.

I work 4 days a week as a nanny 12 hours a day, and sell altered
bottle caps, handmade sock monkeys and other stuffed animals,
cards, and scrapbook pages in some local stores.
My favorite time to scrapbook is late at night, when the house is quiet and I can spread my things out on the floor!


I love to make my own embellishments,
especially hand cut titles, flourishes, flowers, etc.
I enjoy going through the gallery here and reading the forums to get
new ideas and inspiration. The challenges are really great for meeting
new people and opening my mind to things I haven't tried before.

Scrapbooking is very important to me.
I love creating a storybook of our lives for my son.
I love the creative outlet it is for me.
I love looking though a finished album and thinking about all the
memories we are making together as a family.



Scrapbooking isn't about scraps of paper and photos.
Scrapbooking is about scraps of life - yours and those special to you.
