Hello, welcome to Camellia Cottage!

I haven't made a card since February, although it brings me such joy.  Caring for my father whose health was failing and spending many days and nights in doctors offices, emergency rooms and hospital rooms took it out of me.  When I was at home, I pretty much did nothing - depression really had it's grip on me.  My dad passed away in September.  The last few weeks were the worst of my life, watching him fade away and then fighting to breathe.

Now that he is in heaven, healthy and whole again, I am trying to learn to live again myself.  I still help my Mom, but she's in pretty good health and basically I just take her to run errands and such.  She spends a couple of days with us every couple of weeks, and will be traveling to Savannah with us soon.

The old itch to play with paper has been making itself known.  Maybe I will do something soon that I can post on here.  Until then, take care!  Becky
