The Scrapbook.com music video and song "It's Always Sunny in Here" was written and produced by Scrapbook.com employees, former employees, friends and family. It was filmed inside the Scrapbook.com warehouse (after we converted it to a winter wonderland for a weekend). We used props from our warehouse in the video including brown boxes, gift-wrap wrapping paper, packing peanut "snow", picking carts, and packing tables. We had a blast conceptualizing the song and video, building the set, finding costumes, and filming the actual music video. We thought we'd give you a peek behind the camera.
Scrapbook.com's beautiful retro girls (below) looked amazing. We had a professional hair dresser and make-up artist on site to get just the right look. Their costumes included vintage-style dresses and aprons. Yes... you can buy those cute aprons from Scrapbook.com.

You can see our "stage" below in the warehouse. Check out the "brick wall" out of brown packing boxes. Our guy's costumes included vintage style suits, ties, and tuxes.

Here's Lana getting her hair finished up before we started filming. Doesn't she look fantastic?

Our fabulous founder got all decked out too! Here's Jill Davis after getting all done-up. She looked amazing.

Here's our dance captain Emily in front of our "stage".

Here's Lana with her side-kick (and sister in law) Jenny.

Here's Jenny again in front of our huge christmas tree. This picture was taken after we started cleaning up and dismantling things. You can see some of our packing peanut "snow" on the ground.

Some notable tidbits:
The music for the song "It's Always Sunny in Here" was written by Rob Gardner. Rob is an acclaimed composer and producer. He used to work at Scrapbook.com on design and web development and still maintains close ties with many of our staff members. The words were written by McKane Davis (Scrapbook.com's President).
Lana Shumway (lead actress/singer) and Jere Van Patten (lead actor/singer/director) are relatives and close friends of Jill Davis (founder of Scrapbook.com) and the Davis Family. Not only did they sing and act, they also helped conceptualize and produce the video.
Merek Davis (Scrapbook.com's director of videography and photographer extraordinaire) filmed and edited the entire video. He makes everything look amazing. He was assisted by his talented friends Dan at Motion Army and Boyd Harrington.
We all watched (literally) hours and hours of 1950's and 1960's commercials and shows to make sure we got just the right "feel" for this video. We had a great time and we hope you enjoyed the video.

A special thanks to the entire Scrapbook.com staff for building the set, setting up the Christmas tree, wrapping over 150 presents, and cleaning up the packing peanut snow and confetti etc! You were amazing. Thanks also to Bobb Cooper and the Arizona Valley Youth Theatre for letting us film the kitchen scenes on their stage.
