i have heard that if you coat the glitter with glossy accents after it is on the page that will stop it from flaking.
you can't stamp with stickles. it is a kind of glitter glue.
yes, it is a glitter glue, but I've actually stamped with it before, with no problems. It's an interesting look, actually. but what I actually meant is if it's not a hugely detailed design on the stamp is to stamp the image, then outline it with the stickles. I've done that a lot.
You could try putting a product like modge podge on it. I use that over glitter when I put it on chipboard so I don't see why it would seal glitter on paper.
I was using a glue pad but it dried up so now I just brush the glue on the clear stamp with a paintbrush and that works fine. The glitter (also martha stewart) adheres fine. But once it dries it flakes off all over my page. The design is there, it just flakes off some. Maybe i should stick to embossing-so much cleaner, but I dont wanna give up if I'm doing something wrong.
hi again.
I think I must be doing something wrong- Im using glitter as bling accents, with the glue and clear stamps, but I cant get the glitter to 'stay' it flakes off everywhere . It's the martha stewart stuff, however the pad is unusable now, and I let it dry for 24 hours before I put it in a page protector. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help!
