Glitter paper trouble

I only use two adhesives plus the Xyron for big projects. Photo splits for papers and Tombow Multi (green cap) for stubborn dimensional elements and papers that have a slippery textures.
Use the Tombow by putting a dab on the paper and a dab on the element, let them sit for a bit and then attach by putting the two items together This is, in my opinion the best and strongest holding magical adhesive and buy it in quantity.

It depends on the paper. The glittery paper that the glitter doesn't flake off of at all (looks sort of embossed) is fine, but not the glitter paper that is made with loose glitter that can flake off a bit.
With that kind of paper, I've only been able to use Zip Dry because the loose glitter sticks to the glue dots/tapes and then the dots/tape don't stick to the actual paper.

Terriffically Tacky tape works wonderfully as does glue dots as well,,,,,regular adhesive (even ATG) just doesn't like glitter paper But zip dry is wonderful too,,,,love that stuff!

I was having the same problem with one of my layouts....I just bought a bottle off of Evilbay and can't wait for it to get here. Thanks for posting this question. I love it here. People are so helpful.

I ran to Hobby Lobby last night and bought some. I used it this morning and it worked!

And just in case you need it-I agree with the zip dry!

Hello everyone

I'm fairly new at scrapbooking. I've been having some trouble with the glitter cardstock that I bought from Hobby Lobby (the pink in picture). I love it but I can't seem to find anything to glue it with. Since it has a normal backing, I can glue it down to anything with no problems, but I want to layer things on top of the glitter paper as well. I have a zig glue pen but it just doesn't stick to it. I didn't want to use pop dots because I didn't want it to have dimension. I finally got fed up and used a hot glue gun; it worked until I came back the second day and found it had separated! My friends birthday is on Friday so I need help!

I would be grateful for any suggestions!
