So I have already been to Big Lots...

I went because I read somewhere that they had Thickers and since I love Thickers I just had to go see if my BL had them and nope, nada, not a single one........BUT...........

They have Ek Success Punches!!! Some are corner punches, some were border punches and then there were some that punched tiny holes that you could then sew threw to make the design. I was a good girl and came home with these 4 only! Thought you needed some enabling this Memorial day!

Oh yeah, I also went by JoAnns and since my store is so tiny and duddy there was nothing I wanted except they had the 8x8 cardstock for 10 cents each so I grabbed up what I wanted from that.

You never know with my Big Lots. One day you can go and rack up and other day you will be wasting your time.. I haven't been in a while so this definitely makes me want to go and see if they have anything new?? I would love it if they got Thickers in, I love Thickers!! Congratulations on all your new punches though!!

I just got Thickers at mine today! They had about 10-12 different colors and fonts to pick from. I stocked up!

Oh I'm getting my hopes up now for the Thickers! They just put those punches out at mine so hopefully Thickers are on their way...

I SO want the Thickers. I was there yesterday and they didn't have them nor the punches, but I've bought some of those similar punches at TMs a while back. I paid about that much too.

Oh man, I love thickers... I will have to start making stops at mine... we have at least 5 Big Lots stores anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes from my house. Not to mention my mom has one in her town, I can have her start looking to. I go through those soo fast.... I love big lots.

My Big Lots never has ANYTHING! But, awesome for those of you that get the goodies!

As soon as I heard this I jammed over to my BL...no thickers or punches! The worst part is they redid the whole store and the scrappy section is so small now it's depressing...

I have had my eyes peeled for the Thickers!!! Haven't seen them yet, but have been checking my 2 nearby BL's couple times a week for the past couple of weeks. Figure the product turns over quickly, but everytime I am there I only see the same stuff. I am hoping that one day just one day I will walk in there and there will be new stuff

Not sure I'm really excited about thickers though. I already have so many alphabet sets that I don't seem to use. But maybe if I had more....

Hit a different BL today, but no Thickers or punches. I'll check back next week. It usuaslly takes a while for the things to get to us:)

Enabler!!! I had *no clue* Big Lots carried scrappy stuff, so I had to check it out!

Here's my haul from today:



(bad pic, because of all the plastic - but you get the idea)

All for $1-$2 each. It's hard to see, but the ribbons are DCWV "Once Upon A Time" and "Holly Jolly" and the punch is a butterfly stitch punch (it punches the holes and you can stitch the design)
My fave find is the chip chatter alphas. (Hello... my name is Katherine and I'm addicted to alphas...)

I went to two different Big Lots today and neither had Thickers! They did have some of the punches though. I'll keep checking back to see if they get the Thickers!

omg guess what big lots got the thickers in today--i went to a big lots and didnt see them out but as I was leaving I saw a box on the counter and guess what yes it was the thickers I took two of whatever they had--then i thougght well let me go to another one and see what they have--guess what there box was completely different the store didnt even put them out the box was just there on the side so yep I got two of each of those too!!--heheehe and yes they are $2 each. I dont think I am going to go to another store but you neever know I am off the rest of the week--hehe thanks so much for the tip--the only thing I didnt find was the punches but like I said I might go again later. so everyone might go check again because like I said they only got them in today.

I need to go, dangitall, but DH has MY car because his is on the total fritz, and I am taking HIS to work and back because I have a 6 minute commute compared to his 36 minute commute,,,,,so no big lots for me, not with his piece of junk,,,,,

sigh,,,,and he's working til 8 tonight and tomorrow, so I won't get there today OR tomorrow,,,,,,,but I am going THURSDAY!!!!!

I know TMs has an automated thingie where you can call and check which stores have what with the UPCs.

p.s. I stopped by the one across town only to find that they have yet to stock the scrapbooking section at all. Darn the luck!

(They had a 12x12 DCWV Old World album for $8.00, but that was literally all).

I even went to a BL in a very shady part of town looking for thickers...I'm risking my life for these things!!!

Guess what?? My BL had them!!! Yay!!
