Double sided paper

May '12 Love 2 Learn

I'm having a hard time using some of my double sided paper, because I love the design on both sides.

Anyone else have this dilemma? What do you do?

I buy a lot of sheets of it so I can use both sides.

Generally I but at least 2 sheets to start with. If I didn't then I use pieces of if on my layouts, that was I can use some of both sides

I buy 2 sheets as well, but I haven't always. Sometimes I find that I have only one for some reason or another. Then I will try to find a way to cut it or fold it in order to see both sides. I might cut it in half and use both sides with coordinating cardstock on a 2 page LO.

I cut it so that I can use both sides on the LO. I might put CS or a lightly patterned coordinating pp as the background, and use both sides of my fave pp as the accents or layering pieces. I tend to layer a lot.

Like above, cut it up to use both sides. A strip to make a border, a square to mat, etc.

If I only had one sheet left and loved both sides, I would do what others have suggested, and cut it up for embellishments (die cut flowers, tag etc.) to see both sides....
I also usually buy at least 2 sheets of pp that I love, though!

I know what you mean so when I'm shopping for paper, if I see a double sided one that I like both sides for, I will buy 4 sheets instead of the normal 2

If I really love both side, then I buy two but I like that you can distress double sided, tear, fold over, etc....and it's not white on the back but a coordinated color. I needed to to a tear and fold down on a sheet that was NOT double sided, so I had to cut a coordinating paper to glue on the back. Extra work and then it was really thick.

And I have also cut out the middle. That is a great paper saving thingy to do. And it's not because I need paper! I just want to save the paper I LOVE!

I always purchase multiple sheets - of course, I've been accused of never buying just ONE of anything!

I buy doubles and sometimes even more than that. Depending on the theme, colours and style.
Graphic45 papers are ALWAYS handy. Especially those with written text on them so I always buy extra of those. I have a ton of papers from years back that I still have to use on projects. They just waiting for the right project to come along

I will do a LO on each side if I really like the paper and it's good and sturdy.

I usually buy extra so I can scrap on one side and have plenty of the other design to cut borders or mat with. Sometimes I just fold down a corner to have the other coordinating side show.
