Scrappers are the nicest people!!!!

I can't believe the amount of support and generosity shown by everyone I've met on here. Complete strangers send me items for swaps and include a multitude of 'others' that they know I'll like. Then still others send me stuff because they want to clean out their closets. They just hand over all of this expensive material for free. Makes me want to run right out and be just as nice to everyone else.

So far Ive met nothing but nice people. But with any site or anything Ive done Ive run into some people that are not so nice. Thats ok because I always brush it off.

I do have to say Im quite happy at this site there are so many nice people and being new I felt so welcome. Thanks for that you guys.

Scrapping is sharing--hence, nice people!

i have to say, most people i meet are great.

but i work at an LSS. and i think working in any sort of store, you meet people that aren't going to be happy with anything you do. we have a few customers who always want to complain about something or try to find fault with something to get a better deal or whatnot. argh! they're obnoxious and i dread seeing them walk through the door.

however, these are always made up for my the rest of our great customers. particularly a number of fab "regulars" who we know by first name and vice versa. they're like friends. and they make me look forward to work that much more!

on sb.c, i have to say that when i first got active on the boards, i was met with negativity for trying something new, but since then i've found some people who had faith in me and i love popping online and being part of the boards here!

I have to say that most everyone I have met on here is very nice. Very Friendly and helpful!

but...not so much when i go to stores and stuff. Most are nice..but there are some majorly stuck up scrappers LOL.

The people around here are great and they all get a *hug* from me. This is what scrappers should be.

Offline, however, I have run into some stinkers. The best LSS in the area has rather abrupt staff (so abrupt and snide that I've been afraid to call and find out if they are having any NSD specials). They only get chummy with long-time in-store croppers and form a kind of elite clique. If you aren't a known cropper, then don't bother asking questions because you will get sighing and eye rolling.

I agree, people here are very nice. I am not very active here but I do feel welcome and appreciate everyone sharing ideas, links, and information. This site is very inspiring to me! Now I need to find time to scrap!

Yes, I suppose I can relate to the elitist thing, but when it comes right down to it scrappers are usually generous and love to share their ideas. I think it takes a special person to be a scrapper--someone who is creative, loving, dedicated, etc.
