What is everyone's favorite computer font for general journaling?

Hi Stephanie! While I don't use the computer for my journaling, I do use it for so many other things - and I do have a favorite font. My personal faves are Enviro and Papyrus. I use Enviro for just about everything - and Papyrus for more formal stuff. If I really want a casual, hand written look, I sometimes go for Kristn ITC or Jokerman - if I want a fun and flippy feel to it. In any case, I suggest looking for something that goes with the feel of what you are trying to say - and most importantly - make it easy to read!! HTH!

I am just starting to use my computer to journal..(I've only had the computer for about a month, maybe 2 and still fumbling my way around!) I absolutely love the choices the computer gives me though..! I particularly like the 'handwritten looks' but find myself going back most of the time to something clean and crisp looking... there are so many fonts out there it boggles the mind! My pages have a whole different look and feel to them. Right now I am back to working in my vacation album and I love the variety the computer fonts gives me AND the consistency in the look ... I'm real fussy about the everything looking just so...My best advice is just play...it's so fun!

It depends on the mood of my photos. For fun, I like Funstuff, Fontdiner Sparkly, Elastic Wrath, Girls Are Weird or Minya Nouvelle. For casual, I like Tempus Sans, Chalk, Parade, Bradley Hand or Angelina. Angelina works well on more formal pages too, as well as CAC Pinafore. I don't know, can you really have a favorite font? Those are just the ones that are simple enough for journaling!

My absolute favorite font is noodlscript cause it's real girly (and I'm a girly girl). For more masculine pages of my husband, I often use Tempus Sans or plain old Ariel.

Top favorite journalling font would be CK Journaling. Also like DJ Fiddlesticks, Minya Nouvelle, TinkerToy, and Mandingo (for a winter page, use Frosty for the title--very close match).
Gimi, for some reason, on my printer the lines in Papyrus break up too much. Tempus Sans ITC has a very similar look and works better on my printer. Anyone else have this problem?

May I ask where you all get these fonts. I've looked on the computer font sites and I've found some really wacky fonts, but not many I'd use for my scrapbook (my baby girls). Do you all have a certain program?

I am a font-a-holic! I have numerous favorites: Antsy Pants, Gargoyle, Another, Lemonchicken, Marker Felt and my all time favorite SAND.
If I don't have a font that matches what I want (which happens more often than you would believe for a person with over 500 fonts). I visit lots of free sites on the web and download what I need. It is so much fun and easy.

Sara, thanks for posting the list! I saw several sites listed that I hadn't seen before and I'm looking forward to trying them.
TDeWolf, on my webpage I've got links to several free font sites, some of which are more scrapbook related than others. There's a link to my webpage in my user profile (in the top line of my post, click on the first symbol to the right of the date and time posted).
If you don't have time to look for free fonts, I've been very pleased with the CK Wedding CD and I know they make a similar baby fonts package, too.
