perforated paper pack

I went to M's over the weekend and picked up the Colorbok Friendly Forest paper pack. I finally got a chance to play with it last night only to discover that the top is perforated. I tried tearing one sheet out to see how obvious the perforations are and they really stand out. Yes, shame on me for not really checking, but the paper pack was taped shut on the sides so it was difficult to tell how the sheets tore out. Now, I will either have to trim the tops or maybe even return the pack. I was really dissapointed. Anyone else run into this?? What did you do?

I ran into this with a couple of paper packs. I trim a very thin strip off below the perforation.

Me too. I have sanded it down a couple of times when I was going to rough up the cardstock anyway, but trimming it is really the easiest way to go.

I'm kind of annoyed, one of my disney paper packs that I just bought online isn't even preforated. I have to cut the pages out :S

I just trim a little off the perforated edges too.

On one of my K and Co paper stacks I got at Ms, the hole on which the stack would hang (if it were hanging which it was not..I never see them hanging so why the hole?) is half on that white strip but the other half is on the patterned paper and so there is a little tiny chunk off the top of each paper.I never noticed it til I'd opened it and ripped one out...didn't take it back...should've.

I take my sharp cutterbee scissors and run across the perforated edge to shave it off.

Or I'll just trim it off.
