Easy journaling tool

Hi all,
I wasn''t sure where to put this.
I don't mind my printing when I;m journaling. My problem is with straight lines and my letters being the same size(which I think has alot to do with the lines.)
I just found this tool online. it's called the eeeEasy straight journal tool.

It looks nice. And is a good idea(at least to me )Has anyone used this or seen it in action?

Creative Memories sells a tool that lets you write in straight lines without making pencil lines or having the bottom of your letters flattened. I think it's called journaltopia.

I have one called Journaling Genie, and a vanishing ink pen. You can just trace the lines using the template, and the lines disappear! I've also used the vanishing ink pen to draw straight lines with a ruler to put die cut titles on my pages. You can get the pen here in the superstore.

The template I couldn't find in the superstore, I found mine at Archivers. (The brand is Chatterbox )

Interesting idea...Never heard of it before. I also use the Journaling Genie templates.

I would recommend testing it on lighter papers...I had one that didn't disappear. But, I do like the Journal genie.

I am a bit nervous about the disappearing ink. Maybe it won't disappear....I also wonder if in a few years it will reappear. I read somewhere that it can take awhiile to dry. I'm not sure I'm crazy about having it laying around. Journaling is hard enough for me... I'd get upset if The cat chewed it(he likes paper for some reason) or one of the kids hurt it. My one DD is 6 and one on the way. DD would know better, but accidents do happen. I guess I could put it in a drawer or something. I do like the idea of having the lines drawn on the paper.

What if you put a piece of lined paper under the cardstock on a lightbox and journaled that way? No lines, it would only work on lighter colored paper,,,,but then you wouldn't have to worry about the ink.

My Kitty likes to lay on the paper while you crop, not so much to eat it. She likes to chase eyelets too with her paw on the table.

Oooh! My kitty would probably try to eat eyelets if she got the chance... she does love sitting on the paper.

Journaling Genie is something I've used and like. I tried it with the Vanishing Ink Pen and didn't like it much though.

And CM used to have a template called Storytellers with journaling lines all over it in different shapes. Sounds like the Journaltopia might be an improvement on that though.

I have the journaling genie pen also and u'r supposed to leave the page out in the open until the lines disappear. I get most of my supplies at http://www.scrapbooking-warehouse.com. They offer a $5.99 flat rate shipping no matter how much u buy. It's a distribution center and a great one at that. NEVER had a problem with them and I order all the time. And they r cheaper than any other place I have ordered from online. Check it out. U won't be disappointed.

Most of the time I just use a pencil to make my lines then use a white eraser to erase the pencil lines. There is a big differene on the eraser you use. Don't use a regular eraser. Make sure it's a white one desinged for art erasing. At best sometimes u just can't erase all lines no matter what and the paper also makes a difference. Some papers just hold that pencil mark, that's when the journaling invisible ink pen comes in handy.
