Best Craft Knife?

Hi! I recently purchased an Xacto Craft Knife (#11, I think), but now I am wondering, is there a craft knife that is really superior? Or are they all the same?

I think they're all the same in terms of functionality, but some have ergonomic handles, some retract, some come as part of a multi-tool. Just depends on whether you want those features or not.

I don't use a regular kraft knife anymore after buying the Fiskars fingertip model pictured above. That's all I use now, when I use a kraft knife at all. Usually, I use my paper trimmer or scissors.

I started using an exacto in design class LONG ago...and I still use that SAME one. Of course I change the blades, Martha Stewart blades fit in the xacto base...I was happy to find that out cause I bought a bunch of Marthas blades when BLs had her stuff for a dollar...so I think it all depends on the "handle" or base you want cause all the blades might be the same.

Just got one of the fingertip craft knives in the mail today (PM me if you want to know where - I got a great deal!) I really like it so far! Very easy to control.

The fingertip control one is my fave, as well. I am just not coordinated enough to use a straight handle one! LOL. I always felt like I was going to cut myself. I don't like the swivel tip fingertip control one, though (that's the purple one). I prefer the orange, fixed blade one. I think it gives me more control and cuts better.

I have the fiskars orange fingertip control one as well and I love it!
