I'm needing some different storage for my brads (non-colored) and am wondering what you guys use,,,any advice would be great...thank you

    i use a fishing tackle/craft box
    $1.99 at the dollar store

Not sure what you are using now, but I use a little craft container that I got from dollar tree. It has about nine separate compartments and it has worked pretty well for me.

I also try to find unconventional storage things... If you look in my gallery, I have a pic of where I use old spice (not the cologne--) containers where I store buttons.

right now i just have them in a bowl but i heard that cork-board works....just worried that it would wreck the ends

I have a couple of different storage containers...I have little jars with lids, tic tac containers, and I just found Starbucks coffee bottles with lids that clean up wonderfully and can store all kinds of goodies.

I use a hardware storage thing like this hanging on my wall:

I use the tic tac type containers too.. then I can see them all lined up side by side in my drawer
  • Dentaldiva
Mine are in the travel fishing lure container too, but I love the home depot idea!
  • Rosita
I've used/am using most of these ideas. If you're on a limited budget, another idea is to use pill boxes.

I think they look really pretty on the wall or on a shelf...Especially when using the metallic see-thru containers.

I keep mine portable (for on the go & for crops) in a clear plastic craft/tackle type box ($1.99 ea at Walmart, J's), within my scrapbook travel tote bag.

Hubby made mine for me...love it!

i use the Cropper Hopper boxes and drawers for brads and all eyelets and much much more
  • JenButler
I use the tic-tac type containers as well . . . I'm VERY limited on space!
  • Crazydiamond
I have a jewelry making storage container with 12 different compartments. Its clear so I can see which brads I have.

I also use tackle boxes for my brads. And within that, I divide up the shapes with mini, sealable plastic bags, available on Evil-bay.

I love the flip-top (tic-tac) containers for eyelets and small brads. The only problem is that they are too small for a lot of my brads.

I use a plastic divided case I got at the dollar store for the larger brads (although I've now run out of space).

I saw a friend of mine had some brads she purchased that came on a piece of foam (the prongs were pressed in to the foam). It was not noisy styrofoam--more like squishy bed-topper foam (if that makes sense ).

I use confectionary tins I picked up at Michaels. Just attached a magnet to the backs and put them on a magnetic board. I like that you can see them through the lids. I also use them to store lots of other things besides brads.

  • Tia Hokee
I just found these great Craft Mate containers at Wal-Mart, but I just discovered that they also sell them in the superstore.

  • Phillyscraps
I love ikea storage items and I use these little spice jars for my brad and eyeletes. one side flips up so you can just shake out what you need.

Does anyone know if the "tray" in the kit is wood, peg board, heavy card stock, the kit is cute but it does not say what the tray is made of in the discription.
