Would you reverse the letter F

Finding the Perfect Wedding Dress layout By Fourblueyes

The Title font is Cricut Cartridge 'Opposites Attract'...the word "PERFECT" is done in upper case cursive. My family thinks the "F" should be reversed as it looks incorrect...even though they know letters are cursive... Do you think the average person looking at it is going to think "oh, she's got the F backwards." What's your opinion?

I looked at this lo earlier and didn't notice anything amiss and took it for an f since all of the letters on that line are lower case. IF I changed anything at all, I might lower the F so the tail hangs below the line. It's a great lay out, what a cute idea.

if you mean in Finding, then no. looks right to me.

I would leave it as it is - its a great layout!

maybe its just me but although the F stood out to me - I immediately chuckled at the "F" being "inperfect" as so often the search for a bridal gown is!

Hmmm....I might change it. It's definitely a cursive F, but the rest of the capital letters don't look as cursive so it does stick out a little. It's not a real big deal though. I wish I could see how it would look the other way...

Actually that's the way a lot of people who do calligraphy make a capital "F". It always looked like a "7" to me until I got used to seeing it. But it looks fine the way it is.

BTW, your layout is absolutely gorgeous!

i did not even notice it till i went back and looked again, it looks fine. but if your family thinks it needs changing then you could change it i suppose. they are the ones who will look at it more than us. either way what a special LO!

I agree with this...personally I would change it because so many people that look at our scrapbooks don't have the "scrapbookers" eye. We of course understand it completely, other people might not. I think it is up to you and how much you want the page to be self explainatory. If you don't mind saying "No that is suposed to be that way" then it will work for you.

It looks beautiful.. great layout! I would personally change it but just as others said, simply because I would get tired of correcting people. If you do not mind, then keep it as it is. Great job!!

the LO is so pretty ( I would have gone with the same dress picked also) and the F I wouldnt notice it, unless someone said something to me/

I love the lo & the ltr looks great turned backwards...I would have not known if you had no mentioned it...

I've looked at the LO several times, and regardless of the "font style"; whether it is cursive or calligraphy, I could not live with that "F"---it's just looks backwards.

I think the lo is very pretty. But, I'd have to vote for changing the F as all of the other caps appear to be scripty, but not cursive, and I guess that F looks backwards to me because of what is surrounding it. Plus, now every time you look at it you're going to see that & wonder which way is correct--no "right" answer I don't think as I've also seen the "backwards" F in calligraphy. Anyhow, the page is really nice!

I couldn't live with the F like that. I'm a graphic artist/proofreader and way too anal to let something like that go. The layout is fun though. I like the way it was done with all the different dresses.

yeah my vote was to switch it too, although the layout is very pretty itself.

I thought it looked fine the way it was. "perfection" is sometimes found in the imperfect.
