mini gift album...

for christmas I am using the MM mini album to make a gift for my step-mom (who is basically like my best friend)..it is going to be a book just to thank her for everything and tell her how much i love her.. simple and to the point.. I was not planning on including a lot of pics just a few since it is a small book.. as i go through the albums to look for pics I notice that there are only pics of me and her from when i was little and then now when I am older.. all the middle years the pics are of the whole family or of her and my sis and or just me alone or with my sis.. but none of just me and her.. do u think it would look odd.. if this mini album only had pics from young and then older and skip the middle years.. i am not sure what to do now..

Are there any pics where you're part of a group but standing next to each other? You could either silhouette just you 2 or fade eveything except you 2 lighter to make you 2 stand out.

i thought of that.. but anywhere we are together there is something in between us where i can't silhouette or crops us out.. obviuosly scrapping wasn't part of our vocabluary back then.. b/c these pics are hard to work with... lol..

what if you cover the picture with vellum and just cut out the part where you both are??? Is that called sihouetting??

You could also use photos of just you or just her during that time period. It will work. Your focus on those pages could be the journaling. But to have a photo of one of you during that time will help.

make a mosaic.. that way you can just cut you and her out of a lot of pictures and still be "together" HeeHee
