Blender Pen?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how to use a blender pen. I read on another site that it blends the color of a marker or colored pencil from dark to light. So I bought one and it does nothing for a marker and kind of smears the colored pencil. And boy does it smell.

what kind of markers do you have? I use charpak markers for sketchin class and the blender pen only works for those certain markers, likewise the prismacolor one only works wellfor that brand. I dont know if that helps or is way off.

I use blender pens all the time. They work great w/watercolor pencils and also with chalks. I used the bp's more often when I am stamping and making cards than in sb-ing and I'm not aware of any markers that they work with. I also use the bp's to mark the area on my Mulberry paper where I want to tear it! Hope this helps! You can get some really beautiful results once you play with them some..
