Cricut Maker -blades??

Brand new to card making or craft machines. Brought the Cricut maker with intention of making more sturdy cake toppers (Iâ€™m a baker!) I knew it didnâ€™t come with the deep housing blade but I can not find anywhere to purchase them in the uk. They all seem to be for the explore which I donâ€™t think is compatable. It might be returned if the reason I brought it canâ€™t be achieved!! Help!!!

Just thinking here but I thought that the Cricut maker is an Explore, it just goes by a different name with the option to cut fabric! I have not done any research on it but it would be worth it to find out but I would say that the deep cut blade will work in the Cricut Maker.
I was not aware that the maker would cut fondant for cakes?? Like I said I have not done any research and it would be well worth the online chat with Cricut. I have found that method of communication to work well for me.

Are the cake toppers made with fondant??
You could be talking paper decorations for the top of a cake??
Like I said, I have not looked into it but I still think a deep cut blade will work with the Cricut Maker.

Googled: Are the blades for the Maker the same as the Explore?

All machine blades are interchangeable between different Cricut machines. However, Cricut Explore ships with a new premium German carbide blade. ... Blade housings are not interchangeable between Explores and older Cricut machines.
