Is there a cordless heat gun/tool?

I bought a bunch of Color Box ink only to have it smear all over. I learned its because its pigment ink and is better for embossing or you can heat set it (hehehe-I thought ink was ink!). I only have a small work space (a computer armoir) and its not exactly close to a power outlet. I'd love a cordless heat tool but haven't been able to find one online so I figured I'd save myself the frustration of searching and just ask here!

I think I saw an ad for one in the magazine "scrapbook answers" April 2006

yes, there is a cordless heat embossing tool. It's gotten some pretty good reviews from people using it and it runs off of butane.

You can do a google search for it--cordless embossing gun

or do a search for it on ebay. Retail price is about $25. Anything higher and you're probably getting ripped off.

Thanks. I found it. I had been searching for battery powered. That explains why I couldn't find it.

I found it on ebay and it said that it would last for 20 mins on a med setting. That doesn't seem like a very long time to me. Then you have to buy and store the butane and I haven't been able to figure out how much that would cost. Battery powered would make more sense to me.

Anyway, thanks for the info but I guess I'll be buying a corded heat tool and an extension cord!
