12 x 12 Album Storage

I would like to get some shelving to store 12x12 albums where they fit well without hanging off the edges like I have now. I am wondering what others are using? Any advice would be appreciated!!

I have an old entertainment center in the living room and those are deep enough to hold a tv so the shelves are plenty big - probably 16" deep each, just guessing. Know there is room for the scrapbooks to come right to the edge and have a lot of room behind the books so they would have to be at least 16". I'm not home right now to measure.

I had a hard time finding shelves that fit 12", but found a bookshelf at an unfinished wood furniture store years ago. This weekend we were at Ikea and I decided to buy a Kallax unit and they fit perfectly (along with all my supplies).

I have an old bookcase that we found on craigs list. It holds the albums beautifully.

If you are anywhere near an IKEA then the Kallax shelves are perfect for all things scrapbooking...someday I'll be able to get some of them! Otherwise right now mine are on some ugly, yet sturdy & effective metal shelves.

Yup, IKEA Kallax is perfect. If you're looking on Craigslist or something, IKEA Expedit is the previous version of those - the appearance is a little different but they are also perfect for scrapbooks.

Sam's Club has a Member's Mark 8 Cube Room Organizer that 12x12 albums fit in perfectly. It comes with canvas bins that I use somewhere else and my albums slide right into the shelfs and don't hang over.

IKEA Kallax, for sure! You can see the ones I have in the pics from my old scraproom (I've just finished my new one and will post pics soon) and those of almost all members here, It seems to be the most used line for scraprooms. They are perfect for anything 12 x 12. Besides they are not expensive.
