Paw Prints and Paint/Inkpads

So do you think if I inked/painted my cats paws to get a paw print it would hurt them? LOL Just worried about the residual paint left after I clean it off.

I want to make hubby a Fathers day gift from the boys to send over to him. I thought it would be fun to put their paw prints on it.

What do you think? Safe or no? Isn't the MM paint non toxic? And stamp pads?

Well, considering the cats will lick their paws until they're clean I wouldn't do it.

IM not sure that is a very good idea.. there may be some left over stuck on the fur or in between their pads.. how about cat paw print stamping or rub ons?

You can use food coloring, its safe for the cats but not for scrapping!

Food coloring? Just normal food coloring do I dilute it down...with what?

Doesn't matter if this is archival safe really. This is just something silly to bring a smile to his face while he is a long way from home missing the boys...well and hopefully me but I don't think my hand/foot print will do much for him! LOL

I use a stamp with a paw print or some times I go to clip art and put in paw print and use them. Most of the time I make mine paw prints out of drawing each pad as a heart.

I draw a middle pad as a heart, that is the biggest one. Then I draw four smaller heart, three on one side and on one the other, for the smaller pads.

I've used a stamp pad and my cats pawprint, and it didn't bother the cat. I wouldn't use paint though.
