How to make a pop up element in a layout?

I'm fairly new to scrapbooking. 2 of my boys will be playing baseball again soon and I want to get some pages started. I would like to add a baseball glove that would pop up when you open the page in a scrapbook. Like the pop up books do. Anyone have any good tutorials or videos to point me towards on how to do this? I have the cricut and sure cuts a lot. I already have a SVG image of a baseball glove I want to use, so I just need to know how to do this. TIA

I would look at some pop-up books to get ideas--you can see how they fold a strip of paper in a certain way to get the image to popup.

Alot of card makers use pop-ups -- maybe search the gallery for cards. HTH

Pop ups issomething I havent tried because of having little kids! My boys flip through their scrapbooks frequently and their little hands would rip out a pop out (happened already in their books) but good luck!

How fun! I've been exploring pop-up card-making. There's a blog called extremecards that has some great tutorials on the basics.
