Tim Holtz Tissue Wrap

I was wondering if anyone has tried this stuff yet. I love everything Tim Holtz but have a hard time spending $15 on tissue paper. I tried to stamp my own but of course it isn't as pretty or cool as Tim's!
So please let me know if it is really worth the $15! Thanks!

I didn't know they even made it! Give it time - someone who has tried it will jump on her, just takes a while sometimes. Its gets more active in the evening when a lot of people get home from work.

I've not used it, but wondered what you would like to use it for? Seems it would be easy to make my own if I needed it. I've stamped in tissue paper before with good luck.

We used some Paris themed 7 Gypsies printed tissue and I think it was about $6. These tissue papers are used in altered art to decoupage objects. Ours went on a chipboard suitcase that will be used to store - what else - scrapbook supplies. My wife will probably use some on a paper mache dressform and some will end up in layouts as fowers. As expensive as it may seem, you get a lot of surface coverage from one pack of paper so if you can think of multiple uses and like the pattern, AND you don't mind spending money on scrap supplies, you probably won't regret it.

It is actually heavier with a tighter weave than most tissue paper. I would say it is kind of the weight of wax paper, without the wax. It is strong enough to manipulate and won't fall apart like tissue paper does. I love how transparent that it is. It is great for layering over other papers.

I really love the tissue wrap. I used it on one of my recent project. I covered my box with it. I used mod podge to adhere the tissue wrap to my chipboard box. I agree with Tammy, it's thicker than tissue paper. It was really fun to work with. I ripped it into small pieces and started layering. My project turned out really nice. By the way, you get tons of it for the $15.

Thanks everyone for your response! Maybe I will stop at my LSS and see if I can look at it closer!
