ScrapJazz is another site owned by Scrapbook.com. I registered there 8 years ago, before I registered here, and have made many friends. However they have now decided to close it. The following announcement was posted on ScrapJazz on May 25th, and on May 31st the whole site was moved with no redirect. This means that members who did not visit the site during that week now have no access to it, and no means of finding out what has happened to it. The old URL now redirects to the Forum page here, with no message showing the new URL.
To try and help existing members, I am posting the announcement here, in the hope that people will be able to find their way to the new address so that they can at least save their Galleries, re-site their Challenge groups and get contact details of friends. I hope nobody will mind me (or anyone!) keeping it bumped up to the top for a while, so that it is visible on the front Forum page? My friends, thank you all hugely for your co-operation.

Dear Scrapjazz Members -
Nearly ten (10) years ago Scrapbook.com acquired Scrapjazz.com from Ben and Andrea Steed. We've worked to keep the community and site up and running since then while also balancing the needs and demands of running the Scrapbook.com site and business. After a decade, we feel like it's time to move to the next chapter, and begin the phase-out process for Scrapjazz.com.
On May 31st 2016, we will begin our phased approach of shutting down the Scrapjazz.com site. On that date, the main http://www.scrapjazz.com domain name will redirect to http://www.scrapbook.com, and the content and data on Scrapjazz site will be moved to http://archive.scrapjazz.com All of your gallery images and forum posts etc will all remain in-tact and accessible at that new web address. You'll even be able to continue posting and using the site in the same way for the next 7 months.
On December 31st, 2016 the site will become "read-only", meaning you won't be able to post new images or new forums threads/posts etc to Scrapjazz. In early 2017, if there is enough demand, we'll build a gallery image importer so you can copy your gallery images from Scrapjazz.com over to Scrapbook.com automatically. Eventually we'll shut down http://archive.scrapjazz.com
We know that some of you may be disappointed with this announcement. We have pondered and discussed this many times here at Scrapbook.com. Ultimately, we feel we can’t give you the wonderful experience you deserve here at Scrapjazz.com. We truly hope those of you who are here will join the wonderful community at Scrapbook.com or that you'll be able to find a new online home where you can connect and share online.
