I found out from QK's web site that they can officially cut:

Cardstock, Vellum, Metal, Adhesive Paper, Xyroned Paper, Poly Foam, Velvet Paper, Wood Paper, Shrink Plastic.

Maybe I've been missing something, but I didn't know it could cut all that! (Especially the metal!)

Thanks for sharing. Somehow I thought it was more like the Sizzix sidekick, which can only use paper--maybe that's why it's easily confused. Or am I confused on both? Cause I'm still debating the whole die cut issue--is it really worth the money, or should I just stick with stamps, stickers, and rub-ons.

I love my QuicKutz.... but if I had to do it again, I would probably buy something a little more versatile. I love the QK dies, but they're all so small... with something like the Wizard (by Spellbinders), you can cut multiple companies' dies, and can make some of the bigger cuts. I think I would go that way if I had to do it over again.

Yes, its the metal you use for scrapping- not thick metal. I love my QuicKutz - but sometimes forget i have it. I have a sizzix too so i can't complain!
