Tear Bears/Animals

I know there are some instructions on the EACH ONE/TEACH ONE on how to make tear bears, but they are kind of general. Could someone give me some step by step instructions please? Like I know you have to wet the paper, but how much do you wet it and you use a paintbrush right? Do you draw your pattern, cut free hand? Wait until the paper is dry before you tear? Some very descriptive instructions would be VERY appreciated TIA

Here is what I do: I use a q-tip to wet the paper, but a paint brush would work the same. Use the brush to outline your pattern on mulberry paper with the water, then while the paper is wet gently pull it apart. This will give leave some of the fibers sticking out where you pulled the paper apart giving a fuzzy look.

I've done it with regular cs and it stills gives a bit of a fuzzy look.
