Where is the thread?? I have been looking and looking for instructions on how to make my own chip board letters.

I haven't seen the instructions here but I just made some of my own and they turned out great! I just glued a piece of pp on chipboard and cut into squares or other shapes. I then lightly sanded the edges of the patterned paper and used rubon letters on the paper. They were really simple. I found instructions in scrapbooks etc. magazine march/april issue. The instructions also suggest that you seal them with a coat of clear paint. hth.

I was stupid and bought some chipboard in a pack...it was expensive at the LSS....

Then I was there one day when my friend was unpacking the new shipment of products.....It is used in packing so I got a ton of it for free. My hubby just brought me a huge 33 gallon trash bag full of chipboard.....

Try your LSS or buy some Little Debbie cakes....4X8 sheets of Chipboard is used for packing...I guess they dont want your twinkies damaged!

I read someone saying that they used the cardboard that cereal boxes are made from to make these chipboard letters.

Office supply stores sell & cut to size chip board. A 8 1/2x14 sheet here is 6 cents!
