I saw this embossing tool on DIY Scrapbooking show and I just happened to see it at WalMart today. I picked it up and i LOVE it! Two sizes and is it smooth. I am really impressed! No need for a light box!

I have one and you are right- it is very nice. i love to use it for rubbons!

I haven't seen it. I go to Wal-Mart a lot and look at the scrapbook stuff but haven't seen it that I know of. What does it look like? Maybe I just missed it.

There is a new style Empressor out by the same company that has rubbery light blue finger grips. Has anyone used both? I already have the one like Kimba posted. Does the new one work any smoother? I'm quite happy with the one I have when using plastic templates, but it doesn't really get into the tiny spots on brass templates.

I noticed that:/ I have 2 expensive brass plates and the nibs on the empressor are too big. And, the tool I got when I got the plates almost shreds the paper! Not smooth at all. Maybe empressor can make a smaller one...:)

I never thought to use it on the journaling genie templates. what a great idea! gotta get it now!
