SIZZIX MACHINE HELP

I finally went and bought a Sizzix machine and the converter. I have been playing with it and I can not get it to cut. I had to put shims under it but that is not working either. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hmmmmmm.......hard to tell. What type dies are you using? The "regular" sizzix dies or the Sizzlets?

Some people have had a hard time figuring out the converter initially. Are you sure you have it installed correctly, i.e. magnitized to the pressure foot of the machine? You are using a cutting mat, right? Sorry if these questions are annoying, I'm just trying to get a feel for what you are or are not doing......

Oh my, thank you so much I did not have the converter in right..LOL. I was getting ready to take it back..LOL.
