HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

I know I don't talk alot on here but I feel so close to this board of friends as I read post after post. You all have helped me in one way or another & I just wanted to wish everyone on here a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

I'm also nosey on how many people received scrapbooking supplies as their gifts? :-)

No scrapbook supplies but my family bought me a new bike! I've been riding my old bike for 17 years and I've been complaining about it for the past two years, so I'm very happy!!

I got a CIS Jr last week, and then dh put up with a major over-the-budget supply binge the other day when I went to a new lss! I'm all set to scrap for a while now!

Didn't get any scrapbooking supplies for Mother's Day but got a beautiful arangment of flowers and had a wonderful day

My daughter wanted to take me fishing--why I don't know--but I took one complete roll of pictures!!! She caught 3 fish and her brother loved throwing rocks and then I took some "bug view" pictures of the wildflowers in the field. She must have known what I needed--TLC and the best thing ever--to hear their laughter!!

I didn't get any scrapbooking supplies for Mothers Day - my 3 year old made me a beautiful pin in pre-school. This is the first gift he has really given me - so it was really special.

However, my birthday was Saturday and I received 2 gift certificates for different lls's. I can't wait to shop!!! Paper isle here I come!

I had a great MD! My beautiful daughter flew in the day before. I got to listen to her laugh and see her smile.

One of the best things that happened on Sunday was watching her look through the book I keep for her. Seeing her expression as she turned the pages was a precious moment I want to keep forever. It feels so good to know that those you love appreciate and value your work. I'm a lucky mom.

No scrapbooking gifts (Longaberger Mother's Day basket so I'm )but my Mother's Day was memorable - thankfully no one decided to take pictures - LOL! I was enjoying planting flowers and somehow tripped and fell in the garage and have huge bruises on my arm and leg. Boy am I sore today. And then I got attacked by my 3 yr old DGD with a hose - and all her Mom could do (along with me) is laugh.

My day turned out to be great as well! I was a tad nervous because it was the first one without my mom, so was afraid I would cry all day. But everyone was with me and it was an extremely nice day. Turns out you can still say Happy Mother's Day to your mom, even if she's not 'here'.

I did get scrapbooking stuff. Well truth be told, I RAKED IT IN! hahah My bf got me the Crop n Style XXL!!! I couldn't believe it. THEN he got me an adorable T-shirt, 4 embossing templates and a lettering template! Yep, he's a keeper!

So glad everyone had a nice day too. We just have to make sure and be as good to our men on FATHER'S day!

I didn't get any sbing stuff for mom's day, I did get a wonderful dinner at Claim Jumper (yum), a bouquet of flowers, flowers to plant in the garden and a pedicure gift certificate! My dh took care of me (and of course my 21 month old and 4 month old)!
