do me a huge favor and post a note about your experience in preparing and giving your gift. I know some have yet to do theirs yet, but I am putting together a story of the event and would love to get everyone's two cents on the experience!
It was so refreshing to get to do something totally nice for someone. Especially someone that I don't even know. When I signed up I was still very new to the board, but I could tell that "Inkiepinkies" was going to have a depressing 8 weeks. I hope that as we grow as a community we will be able to continue to do such great things. When someone has a baby, or moves, or has some equally huge new thing to deal with, it would be great to respond to them in the way that we have for "inkiepinkies".
Thank you Scrapbooking Sisters!
------------------ Meggie: A person who always strives to do her best-
I got my package around last week. I found a keyring at my LSS to go with the scrapping supplies I got. It was fun picking out some things I would enjoy getting and I just hope she likes the same type of things. My LSS has a die to make frames on their diecut machine so I made some of those too. I enjoyed making something as well as buying some goodies. Well, with the 4th being last week and company here some of the week I didn't get mine to the Post Office until Friday. Then on Sunday as I was "window shopping" a few sites I found a mug that I had to send her. Figured she could enjoy her coffee or tea in a scrappers mug even in bed! They were going to ship it direct so it may have beat my other package. This was just so much fun trying to brighten her recovery time.
