What TV show could you base a layout on?

I have several current TV show layouts. One is Frazier another Sesame Street. Someday these will be history like My Three Sons. Do you have someone in your family or know someone that loves a TV show and wouldn't miss if for anything? What layout would you do if you wanted to do one?

DUKES OF HAZZARD!!! I loved that show when I was a kid - I only wish I had pictures of me with all my toys when I was a kid, so I could actually do a layout! =(

You're giving me ideas. . .maybe I'll do a Star Wars layout - my DH knows every little detail.

Do you put pics of your family watching these shows? Or do you just do memorabilia?

This is really dumb but when I was in middle school my mom got *really* fed up with us watching t.v.. So fed up, in fact, that she put the t.v.s into a closet. And there they stayed for *3* years! Every once in a while she'd let us pull a small b&w out and watch M*A*S*H on rainy Friday afternoons. But the t.v. show I'd be most likely to make into a layout would be The Love Boat. Hokey, huh? Well, my grandmother lived in an apartment in our basement, so on Saturday nights I'd go down to her apartment and ask to play a game of Scrabble or Gin Rummy because Nana always watched The Love Boat. I didn't *just* ask to play on Saturday nights, but those evenings together are quite a fond memory.

I'm planning on doing one with a General Hospital theme. I have been watching that so for long now. I haven't decided if I'm doing one on All My Children and One Life To Live yet.

I actually got together with my friends a couple a weeks ago to see the season finally of FRIENDS we are all in our 20's and we are hooked. So I decided to have a big get together so that we could watch the show and have dinner. We had a great time amd I took a lot of great pictures.
I plan to do a layout on our special friendship and the fact that none of us ever miss a show.

There are so many I could chose from. Lets start when we were kids. I'm the middle of three girls, and we always watched "Little House on the Prarie". One year my mom made us all matching dresses that looked like Little House dresses. Then there is my husbands family. If I sould ever find a group picture with the whole family, they would have "Eight is Enough". (Hubby is youngest of eight) The "Love Boat" could be a good one for my parents. (they actually took a cruise on the Love Boat)
Other shows I used to watch as a kid are M*A*SH, Emergency, Dukes of Hazzard, Charlie's Angels, just to name a few.(I watched a lot of TV as a child) My husband used to watch Bonanza and got me into the reruns after we married. The possibilities are endless!! Now you've got me thinking! I could make a whole old TV show scrapbook!! How fun!

I have thought about "One Flew Over the Cookoos Nest."

I really should do a Star Trek one for my son. He loves that show. It was to the point that this year, we all sat down as a family each Wednesday night (if we got home from church in time, if not, it was taped) and watched the last season of Voyager. Now, DH and DS can't wait for Enterprise!

DH watched the original growing up, we watched The Next Generation all through seminary didn't like Deep Sapce Nine, but watched Voyager. So, I really should do the layout. Thanks for the idea, Jill.

I did a great Scooby Doo layout for a picture I have of my husband standing with Scooby in the Warner Brothers store (and I think he looks just like Shaggy!) I think it is one of my favorite pages because I could use such wild colors.

I would love to do Survivor pages because that is my girlfriends and my FAVORITE show I'll bet I could do some great Survivor pages because there's so much on the internet I could use. Thanks for the great idea!

Wow, what a neat idea. This got me to thinking back when I was in Grade School. We had Theme Days - one day was 50's day and I have some great pic's. I loved "Happy Days".

MASH is my all-time favorite TV show. I still watch all the reruns and if I could get a copy of every show, I would buy them. I'm an ex-Marine, but when I do my "personal" album from birth to now (many, many years), I plan to do some MASH layouts. I also love old Magnum reruns.

Well I've borrowed the title from the show Lost in Space. I used some starry night paper, silhouetted the picture of my son in a flying saucer at the fair and used some planet stickers to make it look like he was in space.

I have done Blues Clues, Teletubbies, Elmo's World and Emeril. Most of the pictures that I do are of my kids and I haven't done too much about me and my hubby.

Oh I know! Green Acres! My husband is a farmer and has lived on the family farm basically his whole life. Whereas I grew up in the *City*......ok so I lied, it can't be considered a city but a town. Anyhow that could be a fun layout to do!

I did layouts for Sesame Street and Arthur for our family album (still have the boys albums to do). Both these T.V. shows were on exhibit at our local childrens museum when we last visited. My sons had a blast seeing their favorite TV characters live and in person. I don't think we've missed Arthur since then.

When I get to do my album, I want to include a pages for Captin Kangaroo and Family Affair. I just loved these shows as a kid. I still have my Mrs. Beesley doll - wish I could shrink her down and get her in my scrapbook.

What about the Brady Bunch..just replace the Brady with your family name and cut picturs into 3x3 inch squares and place them in 3 rows of 3. Just like the begining of the show.

What a great topic! I've done Sesame Street, and now I'm going to have to do Powerpuff Girls since DD just had a PPG B'day party. I've also done a layout about some friends that I'd met when I traveled to NYC. We all met in a cute little coffee shop like they have on the show Friends. I used the logo from the T.V. show for the title. I'm planning on doing something about "Who wants to be a Millianaire" for my DD's baby book. Since it was such a big part of our pop culture the year she was born. I also think it micht be a good idea to capture something about the big reality T.V. craze, especially Survivor.

Don't get me wrong I love my family dearly but I would have to do a layout of THE SIMPSONS if it was a movie it would be A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD, my dh says Its A Wonderful Life and he is LOL.

I will definitely be doing a General Hospital Theme at some point - I've been watching for the last 21 years (pretty amazing considering I am only 26!).

Also Friends, Cheers, That 70's Show for my childhood, Brady Bunch for my family (a your's, mine, and our's variation).

Mine would be Survivor or Iron Chef (on the Food Network). when me and my friend watch either of them we turn off the ringers on the phone so we can watch them with no distractions.

Iron Chef is hilarious! I love watching that! I'd have to say layouts I'd like to see would be The West Wing (maybe for a DC trip) and Jag. (I have no ideas about how to use Jag in a layout, but I just started watching this show last week. Where have I been? Man, is he good-looking! ;-)
The Men of the West Wing are pretty easy on the eyes too. I'd also do a Simpsons one. My DH and I were Homer and Marge one year for Halloween. I did the photos on a generic Halloween page, but I've been wanting to redo that layout for awhile, since it looks too crowded.
