Have Bosskut Gazelle.. Trouble with blade tapping..

The blade keeps tapping 2-10 times before it cuts the project.. WHY? Is that normal? Wont it destroy my blade? Have Bosskut Gazelle... Using Funtime software that came with it, years ago I put one free update software into it from Bosskut. Need help please.. Bought this machine long time ago 10+ years, Before I could learn how to use it good.. I then changed jobs, now retired and want to start SB again.. Maybe this picture will help you know what version of machine I have, excuse the colored letters, I put them their to help me learn the buttons.. Thanks so much ahead of time for any help you can give me..

Sorry, Jean, the image won't pop up. I don't know much about this but have you tried googling it? Or try a youtube video. Oftentimes, the you tube videos will show you how it is supposed to be used but may also have trouble shooting videos for issues like yours.

Look on Amazon for reviews of the machine. Sometimes problems are mentioned there.
Are there settings for blade pressure? I read about adjusting that, similar to the cricut or cameo.
