How do I join a challenge?

Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to join some challenges on sb.
Here's what I did: I uploaded my layouts to my gallery and after they were published, I clicked on the link button on the right hand side of the screen (under the Favourite box). Then copy pasted the link generated into the challenge post. Am I doing this right?
I read somewhere that I have click some join button or direct link button but I can't seem to find it! Would appreciate your help!

I did post some layouts in the challenges but I didn't find any 'join' button (like we had a few years ago) so I was wondering if there are any? Or if just posting/linking the layouts is enough? Would love to know.

Ava, as far as I know, you're doing it right. Since sbdotcom changed their platform, there are no boxes to check to join a challenge, which is a pain in the rear, as far as I'm concerned. Now, you have to link it directly into the challenge forums, like you described. When a challenge opens in the forum that you want to join in, just say I'm in, and then go from there posting your projects in that forum. Hope that helps! Elizabeth

Yes, Elizabeth is correct, there are no "join" buttons.
You read the challenge rules, create a layout/project according to those rules, and post to the appropriate thread.

With that being said there are a few challenges that require you to 'sign-up' by a certain date, such as the Music Inspiration and the Scrap lift the Person Before You challenges.
But signing-up is really just you saying something to the effect of "I'm playing" instead just waiting to post as you complete a project.
Again, just read the challenge rules at the beginning of each thread to know what you need to do.

Have fun...and fair warning, challenges are addicting, LOL!

It's so confusing the new way. I preferred the old way where we ticked some check boxes or clicked some buttons etc.

I know what you mean, Ava. It was so quick and easy before the new platform. Now it is way too time consuming.
