Stamping in scrapbooks- tools?

I am, after 60 years of scrapbooking, thinking about making a style change in my scrapbooking. I have stopped making cards, although I might go back to it later, so I have hundreds of stamps and stamp sets. Im thinking about using more stamping on my scrapbook pages.
If anyone out there stamps on their scrapbook pages, do you use a placement tool? Ive been looking at the Fiskars Stamp Press and the Inkadinkado Stampamajig. Im hoping someone can tell me which they prefer for scrapbook pages, and why. Or if there is another tool out there I should be looking at, Id appreciate that information also. Thanks in advance!

I occasionally stamp on my layouts. I use either my acrylic blocks or my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. I love it! Although, it isn't 12x12....more like 8x8. You might look that up. What's cool about it, one side is for clear acrylic, the other side for the cling or thicker stamps.

I haven't stamped on LO's with the TH platform but I think it would work nicely if you wanted to put a layered design in a corner of a page.
I free stamp with both wood and acrylic stamps but mine are pretty simple.
I think many stampers may stamp, cut and then apply to a LO like a die cut.

I have the TH platform and I love it! Sadly they're not selling it anymore due to getting sued by the makers of the Misti. Honestly, when I was deciding between the TH and Misti I went with TH because of brand. The Misti looks pretty cool and seems to function in the same way. I like to use my 12x12 Misti to stamp on layouts....b/c my stamping never comes out crisp with just one go...also is great if you like using Gina K's wreath-builder template set.

Holy cow!!! I followed that link, Lori!! I can't believe what they charge for the Misti!!! That's ridiculous!! I didn't pay near that much for my 8x8 Tim Holtz stamp platform with the zippered cover!!

Gina k does a special on the Mississippi once in a while that includes the 12x12 and the wreath builder. With a coupon, and first time shopper, I think I paid $7000or so

The Fiskars Stamp Press is very easy to use. It has little soft spongy “feet”. You attach the stamps you'd like to use to the “plate” then position this over your project, and gently press it down. It is really the easiest to use. It comes in two sizes. If the sponges get messed up it will affect how well it stamps. I've had mine for years before the TH or Misty. I now have all three and I can see where the each are great. Fiskars is by far the least expensive! If you have questions regarding it lmk I was a demonstrator for them.
