10/31/20 I had to go in for another "look see" in my bladder, and came home with a catheter. I go in Monday to have it removed. I was worried all day about leaving Berla home alone, but she did ok.
Later I drove her to Safeway to get a gallon of milk and some ice cream, while I waited in the car. It was way beyond her abilities. I called to see how she was doing, she sounded a little shaken, so I told her I would order on line. She was grateful.

I had the catheter removed. I talked with the nurse and she said I could talk to counselor at the VA for help with Berla. She said they could point me to community resources. I think I will follow thru, as I am just winging it now. I don't know what I'm doing, I just do whatever I can.
Now that I am back to normal, I will continue to do my shopping at the store and take her with me. She has a nice walker, and I have a cart; ain't we a pair!
I have been in the studio making cards, birthday, sympathy, get well, and Christmas.

So glad you have the option to get some help Don. Glad you are getting some crafting in. I think in these times it's a blessing to have this hobby.

I thought I would be glad when the election turmoil was over. Now I wonder which will be over first, the turmoil or the covid.

Hey Don, please update and follow me on this user profile. My other one stopped working after 20 years. So sorry to hear you and Berla are going thru so much. Glad your catheter was removed. My dad had to use one for four months one time. I'm sure one day is too long for you guys! Please take good care. Hope to see you at the mailbox soon! Deb❤️
