Stamping and Alcohol Markers?

I'm looking for a little advice here on stamping. Im planning to buy a bunch of the Nuvo alcohol markers to colour in stamped images, but I'm not sure what kind of ink to use for stamping the image.

I currently have in my stash about 30 colours of SU ink (made mini ink spots), and about a dozen distress oxides. I've done a bit of reading and it sounds like neither of those inks will work with alcohol markers.

I'm quite attracted to mini ink pads as storage is limited. Would the mini Tim Holtz Distress Archival inks work? Or perhaps the mini Tim Holtz Distress Ink? If so, is there anything special I need to clean them off my stamps?

The two mediums are different, and I don't know that the archivals will work with the alcohol inks as it's common to clean archival ink with alcohol, which would cause a muddled mess, I'd think.

Would the plain Distress Mini Inks work with alcohol markers? I figured I might need a few different colours for this, so that's why I'm trying to buy mini ink pads.

Ok. I am not REALLY knowledgeable enough to talk at length about this, but I did do a search and here's what I found.. I hope this helps.

You'll need an ink that doesn't react to your alcohol markers. You can use https://crft.st/GIlxLR which is a dye-based ink or https://www.craftstash.co.uk/nuvo-by-tonic-studios-hybrid-ink-pad-black-shadow.html (also work with watercolours) are great too!
