Bazill Cardstock

Am I the only one that has a MAJOR love hate with Bazzill cardstock? I can never seem to find the magic settings to cut it on my cricut. My Maker hates this brand of cardstock, yet I still buy it when I need that certain color. woman_facepalm emoji woman_facepalm emoji

I understand- I love the weight of Bazzill. I have a harder time cutting the textured than the smooth.

I have to do a double cut, but my problem is I updated my software and haven't used it in forever and so forget how to sometimes. LOL

Turn it upside down. Reverse the cut.

Isn't it a general rule to place the smoothest side of the cardstock face up when using a Cricut or Scan n Cut? I thought it was the other way but then I read a couple places that smooth side up is best, as stated in the post above mine. The blade has contact with all the surface better.

Thanks for tip didnt know about the smooth side up! Just read about double cutting recently but haven't tried it.

I don't have a problem. I agree with what the others said, cut with the smooth side up. I have an old Cricut Expression. Options are to increase the pressure when cutting it, change your blade to a new one (when it starts to fray your paper), increase the depth of your blade a little. I do not know about the newer machines and what you can adjust. Hope this helps.

Me, too! It is the only cardstock in the color I need. I'm using the smooth, and it says it's 80 lb cover. If I don't double cut I can't guarantee clean cuts. Very irritating.
