Have we reached "peak gnome" yet?

Don't get me wrong, I love me some gnomes, but they've become more than ubiquitous lately. I'm thinking that when even Brutus Monroe joins in a "cute" trend, we've reached the tipping point.

I never figured out how to incorporate gnomes into my LOs. Just like I never figured out how to incorporate llamas. I died when I saw a LLAMA-GNOME!

OMGosh that's hilarious. Llama gnome, for real. I never got into the whole llama thing but I'm definitely still doing gnomes: they're well-suited to the things I swap like tags, ATCs, pocket letters etc. I put some in my December Journal this past Christmas, because gnomes were all over the place: in people's yards, at the care home where my dad lives, at the post office, on gift wrap. Pretty sure "peak gnome" is just around the corner.

This is funny! I have a gnome die cut that I'll probably use on a LO about our garden. Other than that I do not own any gnomes.
But, I would buy the Llama gnome !

The store I work at had "gnome" shirts made for everyone for
Black Friday. So stinkin' cute. We all have our own name - mine is
The Coffee Gnome.
I bought a door stop that is a gnome because I was tired of everyone
just shoving a shoe to keep the door open on those rare and
wonderful autumn/spring days.

Peggy, I managed to completely avoid the entire gnome and lama trend! Don't own a single one! Every time I see a gnome, it reminds me of the Travelocity commercials. Yeah, can't be buying anything that reminds me of a corporation! lol

I can get into llamas, but I'm honestly baffled by the gnome trend. I just do not get it!
