October 2025 Card Sketch Challenge

Welcome to the October 2025 card sketch challenge.

Challenge runs October 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025.

Rules:

You can do one sketch or you can do all five. You can jump into the challenge at any time. Yes, you can do multiples of a sketch. Whatever the sketches inspires!

When adding your card to the Scrapbook.com Gallery, please specify this challenge in the description. Example: "October 2025 Card Sketch Challenge sketch #3".

Please check Allow Public Embedding for your cards when you upload them!

A name will be randomly picked from those who have completed all 5 sketches and the winner will get a small RAK from me.

Please try to sprinkle a little love on other cards that are posted. We all love to get comments! And don't forget the most important rule, HAVE FUN!!

I love your examples for the card sketches! I don't know if I'll do any this month because Canada Post is on strike again, unless I decide to have a big stash of cards on hand that will carry me through for the next 5 years!

Great sketches and I love your examples. I didn't participate last month as there was just too much going on with family health issues and I just didn't feel in the mood for crafting. But I have a retreat coming up in a couple of weeks and really need to get more Christmas cards done, the sketches will help a lot.

Terri, I have been scrapping in the gameroom (I don't want to mess up my CLEAN desk!). But it was a lot of back and forth yesterday since I like to use the IMAC so I need to move my stuff back to the craft room and you know me, I take my time and move slow!

Hi Everyone!!

Happy October! It's been a VERY long and busy week for me, my DH and I have had his Uncle visiting with us since Saturday, He is leaving tomorrow morning. I haven't had much time to do anything but work and visit.. so I am SUPER anxious to get into my crafty space and get working on the sketches for this month. I need a break from the noise of the world. It being World Cardmaking Day on Saturday, I am ready to get busy!

I am very grateful to have been chosen as last months Sketch winner, thank you @njr007Â and thank you all for the kind words. I really enjoy seeing all of your creations, you ladies have NO idea how much you inspire me every month.

Norma the sketches are awesome! Maybe they will jump start me into making Xmas cards. May i ask if the Snowman grouping on the purple xmas card was a stamp? Same for the pumpkin cupcake? They are so cute!

I only just managed to complete the September cards and here we are already in October! I am planning on having a scrapbooking day all to myself tomorrow, so who knows what I might be able to achieve! My husband is driving 3 hours to watch his football team play, then all the way back so there will be no interruptions from him.

Rachel, you can tell them you are turning off your phone even if you aren't really going to do so, or just say you won't be answering it as you have plans . Like not answering ever happens!

Sharon, so glad your card made it and that you are happy with it. I sure had a lot of fun playing with those dolls.

[Here's a card for one of my nephews! I thought I would have a difficult time with this sketch but I decided to check out my grey and black scraps and found it was pretty easy!




I love the papers that I just got from here at 1/2 price! This was made for my nephew's wife.
