OC California Crop

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone is interested in an OC Crop? We would need a place (someone's house, hotel, church, clubhouse, etc.), a date (sometime in April or May maybe), and some games, prizes, challenges, etc. I would love to hear everyone's feedback on these things. Would you like to come, do you have a place in mind, what days work for you, ideas about activities, etc?

Looking forward to hearing from all you Cali girls and anyone else who wants to drive/fly in!

oohhh, I'm definitely up for it. My husband just left last weekend to spend 10 weeks in Ft. Huachuca, AZ, so I'm looking for anything to help me pass the time. I'm in Santa Clarita (northern LA) so just let me know if you need anything to help get this off the ground.

Sounds fun! My friend has a store that I'm sure she would let us use but there would be a limit of 8 people. She has more chairs but there wouldn't be much table space if all the chairs were in use. I'm in Ventura County. It would be nice to see my friends. For me going somewhere else, it would definitely have to be on the weekend so my hubby could have the kids!

I have called a couple of hotels to ask about their conference rooms, but unless we had A LOT of people, it would end up being too expensive. Debra may have a place for us, I PMed her.

What days work best for all of you? I would prefer Sat. anytime or Sun. Afternoon.

I live in Orange, California and I host a monthly crop in my home. I only have room for 7 but I can reserve a room for $80 for 6 hours in Rancho Santa Margarita if we thought we needed more room and could get enough girls to spilt the cost. I think this room could hold 15+ but I’ve not seen it so that’s just a guess.

I already have a date in April booked in my home. I’m off for May due to CKU-M. But I am willing to help coordinate something in my home for the scrapbook.com girls or at the community center if there are enough who want to pitch in for food and stuff.

Saturday/Sunday's are best for me too.

I might be interested, too. i live in San Diego and certainly don't mind the drive to OC. I've never been to a crop, before, but I am sure I would like it.

I neglected to mention in my earlier post about the pricing for the store - FREE. Don't know if that will make a diff. or not as to where to have our crop but figured it wouldn't hurt to throw in the info.

Hey all...need feedback. Debra offered a place in Camarillo for 8 people, for free.

OR

Cori has generously offered her home for a small number or she can get a place in RSM for 15 people, for about $5 each if we have 15.

So, do you mind going to Ventura county or prefer OC?

I'm okay for any of them. Camarillo might be a tad far for the San Diego girls...but of course that's up to them. I'm sure the date will play as a factor here somewhere as well, as far as availability on all the locations.

But there is my vote.

The closer, the better for me. My husband teases me endlessly about things like this (right, Debra?:D), so I'm going to get hazed less the less I drive. Weekends are good for me.

We could always do a potluck type thing for food/drinks.

I am interested! However, I am leaving Monday morning for a lengthy vacation. I would not be able to attend anything until June. Maybe a spring get-together and then a summer one????

Spring & Summer are fine with me too. I think we all would have a blast getting to know each other and scrappin together!
